W. Bluemel and Brothers Ltd. dans l\u2019est de Londres. Les produits en rapport avec le v\u00e9lo acqui\u00e8rent une excellente r\u00e9putation et l\u2019entreprise se d\u00e9veloppe rapidement. En 1902, la production est relocalis\u00e9e \u00e0 Coventry. Le portefeuille de l\u2019entreprise ne cesse de s\u2019\u00e9largir et comprend \u00e9galement des pi\u00e8ces pour les motos et l\u2019industrie automobile. En 1983, Willi Blome, alors directeur de SKS, re\u00e7oit un tuyau d\u2019un grossiste britannique en bicyclettes&nbsp;: la reprise des installations de production de pompes Bluemels serait certainement un investissement rentable. Un conseil qui devait s\u2019av\u00e9rer pr\u00e9curseur pour l\u2019entreprise SKS, qui ne produisait \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque que des pompes \u00e0 v\u00e9lo. Cette op\u00e9ration a pris plusieurs semaines et, au final, dix semi-remorques \u00e9taient pr\u00eates \u00e0 \u00eatre transport\u00e9es.
